As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Gate in West Jordan, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly while utilizing problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or suspicious activities according to site protocols.
• Assist in emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures for the location.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to help to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
