We are currently searching for DOT registered inspector mechanics with tank trailer repair experience.
Location& Schedule
Salt Lake City branch at 1475 W. 2100 S.
• Shift
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime.
Pay Range: $30.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.
Responsibilities- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
- Tank service and repair.
- Trailer suspension installation and repair.
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
- TIG aluminum and stainless welding experience.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).
Demonstrated Skill In Most Of The Following Areas:
- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
- Tank service and repair.
- Trailer suspension installation and repair.
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
- TIG aluminum and stainless welding experience.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
