Journeyman Electrician

Avail Solar is hiring a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair solar energy systems in Utah. Join a team focused on sustainability and growth.

• Install, maintain, and repair solar energy systems in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
• Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and efficiently, meeting industry standards.
• Lead and mentor apprentice electricians, providing guidance on installations and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to ensure timely and quality project completion.
• Oversee material allocation for projects, ensuring teams have the necessary resources.
• Conduct system testing and inspections to confirm proper operation.

• Hold a valid Journeyman Electrician license (required).
• Experience with solar energy systems (preferred but not required).
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Full mobility to work in various positions (stooping, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights of 20 feet or more.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to submit to a driving, drug, and criminal background check.
• Thrive in a fast-growing team of solar professionals.

$75,000 – $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
