Service Technician - Midgley-Huber

Job Overview

Midgley-Huber is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician-3 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using tools such as Ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Repair or replace defective parts including compressors, pumps, and motors.
• Weld components as necessary for system repairs or installations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
• Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
• Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites as needed.

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician-3 and above or similar role.
• Must have 5‑7 years experience.
• Knowledge of refrigerate systems and boiler operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with appliance repair and equipment repair techniques.
• Ability to plumb as necessary for system installations or repairs is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
• Certification in HVAC technology or relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
