Senior Building Automation Technician Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the execution/installation of building automation projects.
  • Develops and executes small retrofit and upgrade projects, while maintaining a universal technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot BMS/BAS service-related calls.
  • Demonstrates knowledge in the commercial HVAC sequence of operation, basic computer knowledge, and building construction operations.
  • Responsible for system designs, installation, programming, commissioning, and operational verification.
  • Works with a Field Supervisor and Project Manager to schedule and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Mentors and teaches other technicians.
  • Follow safety requirements as outlined GUNTHERS.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of services performed and generates reports
  • Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Completes any additional tasks as outlined by supervisors.
Senior Building Automation Technician

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience required.
  • Expert with Commercial Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems including the various components and processes. (Service background preferred).
  • Proficient understanding of computers, electronics, and electrical circuits and how they work together.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems, PLCs, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations.
  • Engineering and programming (PLC or BMS) background helpful. Tridium N4 Certification Preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a variety of circumstances.
  • Follows GUNTHERS dress and appearance standards.
