Job SummaryCCI Mechanical is the largest and most comprehensive HVAC and plumbing design‑build contractor in Utah. With a consistent workload and a forecast of even more high‑profile opportunities, we are looking for experienced and apprentice service technicians to join our team of 60+ technicians. You will have the opportunity to work and learn within a team structure to enhance both your technical skills and customer‑service aptitude.
Responsibilities- Read and understand system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine the configuration of system components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts, or pipes.
- Service HVAC, plumbing, process‑piping, and building automation equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Use a variety of hand‑tools to repair and maintain units.
- Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at the customer’s location.
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Prepare for on‑site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on‑site work as necessary.
- Preferably a graduate of a certified technical school with 5+ years of experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; and ability to speak effectively with customers.
- Sign‑on bonuses available based on experience ($1,000‑$4,000).
- Journeyman level position starting at $42.33/hr, with the possibility of a higher wage depending on experience.
- CCI pays a benefit package of $14.81/hr annualized at over $29K based on full‑time employment.
