Wage: $18.00-$20.00/hr.

The Senior Community Service Employment Program offers seniors the opportunity to demonstrate their work ethic, enthusiasm, loyalty, and life experience, empowering them to improve their economic self‑sufficiency. • Build and maintain relationships with businesses in the community.
• Coach participants to develop confidence and improve income and self‑reliance.
• Assist participants with resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, and job skills training.
• Document participant progress and ensure successful employment retention.
• Provide post‑employment support and coaching on career advancement opportunities.

• Excellent oral, written, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
• Working knowledge of community resources and employers.
• Experience working with persons with diverse backgrounds.
• Proven interviewing, counseling, and customer service skills.
• Ability to move from one task to another quickly and with ease.
• Positive attitude towards managing change.

• Physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.
• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• High School/Equivalent education. Degree in social services or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience with job development and/or employment placement.
• Proven time‑management skills.
• Completion of a background check is required.
