Sr Manager, Business Operations & Strategy; Marketplace

Jerry.ai is a pre‑IPO fintech startup building the first super app to simplify car ownership. With over $240 M in funding and a 5 M customer base, the company is expanding its insurance marketplace to 50 M and a $10 B business. The Sr Manager, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth) reports to the VP of Insurance Operations and drives the strategy, systems, and execution behind Jerry’s quoting engine, automation infrastructure, and carrier performance.

The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and analytics, and is responsible for creating a seamless user experience while ensuring ongoing carrier success to drive loss ratio, retention, and conversion. The successful candidate will own the strategy and execution of the quoting engine, build automation infrastructure, and partner cross‑functionally to scale the insurance marketplace.

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, etc)
• 5+ years of management consulting experience from a top firm (McKinsey, Bain, and Boston Consulting Group preferred)
• Track record of hiring and managing high‑performing teams

• Structured problem‑solving framework and first‑principles mindset
• Excellent communication skills with technical stakeholders, business partners, and the C‑suite
• High self‑and‑team standards with a relentless pursuit of excellence
