• Operate commercial trucks safely in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. You may drive roll‑off trucks, tractor‑trailers, flat‑beds, and/or lugger trucks as assigned, hauling loads up to 70′ long.
• Load and secure scrap metal materials onto the truck, ensuring proper weight distribution.
• Plan and follow designated delivery routes, considering traffic conditions and road closures.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
• Complete all necessary paperwork such as delivery logs, bills of lading, and other documentation required during pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and clients.
• Handle materials in an environmentally responsible manner, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient execution of deliveries and pickups.

• Valid CDL (Class
  
  A) with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a flat‑bed trailer.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial driving experience.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Ability to strap own load.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Salary: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
