Compensation

Estimated hourly target for this role is $21.00.

Job Summary

The Operator II position is responsible for daily warehouse distribution tasks, including receiving, shipping, assembly, material handling, and all other assigned distribution center activities. The role coordinates with team members and leaders to meet or exceed company goals for inventory control, shipping, receiving, and assembly. Employees are expected to maintain a safe work environment and support the distribution warehouse operation as required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs daily tasks in the warehousing department: picking, packing, kitting, receiving, inventory control, forklift operations, and preparing products for use throughout the facility.
  • Ensures all required materials are accounted for and ready for upcoming orders.
  • Works closely with the supervisor to maintain a lean and efficient workflow to meet schedules.
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains Purple’s excellence in quality.
  • Passes all required drug tests and certifications for operating DOT/ PDC equipment.
  • Operates pallet stretch‑wrapping machines.
Required Skills, Education & Experience
  • Understanding of quality expectations.
  • Proficiency with technology‑related equipment (mobile scanners, radios, tablets, computers).
  • Ability to pass a drug test and certification for all PIT equipment.
  • Outstanding communication skills.

Physical Requirements – Occasional
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
  • Moving oneself in various positions to accomplish tasks.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
Physical Requirements – Constant
  • Remaining stationary, often standing for prolonged periods.
  • Moving between worksites.
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
  • Repeating motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Operating machinery and/or power tools, as required.
  • Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment, as required.
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.
Environmental Conditions – Occasional
  • Exposure to low or high temperatures; outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
Environmental Conditions – Constant
  • Noisy environments and hazardous conditions.
Work Hours

This full‑time position requires approximately 30–40 hours per week. Actual hours may vary based on business needs.
