Position Summary: Loads and unloads materials for sale and distribution in a fast‑paced warehouse. Requires a high degree of accuracy, safety awareness, and ability to lift 60 pounds.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck, or electric pallet jack.
- Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to determine materials to move.
- Loads materials into vehicles, ensuring secure placement to prevent shifting or damage.
- Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading area.
- Counts and records units, breakage, and spoilage on appropriate sheets.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels and marks other information on cases and containers.
- Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and wraps them together.
- Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance in warehouse and sales‑center offices.
- Wears company‑provided uniform and presents a professional image.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Mandates safety shoes; eligible for up to $50 reimbursement for safety shoes.
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour with incentives.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm.
- Weekends and major holidays off.
- Potential hourly wage increase based on number of cases pulled (up to $2 per hour).
- + $3,000 sign‑on bonus.
Requirements: Ability to lift 60 pounds, accuracy, safety compliance, teamwork. Background check required.
