Job Description
This position will help either Order Processing or Shipping operations of the warehouse supplying gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church. The incumbent performs daily receiving, warehousing, selecting, and shipping tasks. Incumbents replenish, audit, inventory, document, ship materials domestically and internationally, and/or deliver commodities. The incumbent uses heavy material handling equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, automatic strapping equipment, and so on.
Incumbents may work directly with customers, ecclesiastical leaders, and others to resolve order delays and make order corrections. They may drive cars and trucks to transport materials/ commodities and may take physical inventories. This position provides entry or training level warehousing experience in which the incumbent performs various receiving, stores, and/or shipping functions under close supervision.

Monday to Friday - 7:00AM to 3:30PM- Overtime as business needs dictate. You will be informed ahead of time.
- Swing
Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 4:00PM to 12:30PM- Overtime as business needs dictate. You will be informed ahead of time.
Starting Pay
$18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- 80% Pick and pack orders or be assigned to shipping orders. Performs general material handling/warehousing duties involving receiving, storing, inventorying, shipping, and disbursing materials/commodities. Processes materials using postal manifest and meter equipment. Loads and unloads trucks.
- 10% Quality of work: review and interpret shipping documents, verify quantities, inspect for damage, determine country of origin and specific language code for international materials, prepare receiving and inventory records, record weight and dimension figures on all new items for warehouse management system.
- 5% May drive small or medium‑sized trucks to deliver materials. Assist supervisor ensure vehicles are properly maintained, licensed, operating safely. Complete logs and reports.
- 5% Assist in maintaining equipment, building, grounds, loading 40 foot trailers, preparing pallets for worldwide shipping, balancing load to meet weight, space, distribution requirements.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with basic math and computer skills.
- Preference for experience in warehousing, material handling or related work.
- Experience in operating motorized material handling equipment including forklifts preferably.
- Valid operator's license if required to drive heavy machinery. Onsite training and certification required.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficient in reading and understanding English.
- Physically able to lift/move/push/pull items up to 50 lbs alone or occasionally up to 100 lbs with two people.
- Capable of climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps, operate pallet jack up to 2,500 lbs.
- Authorized to work in United States.
- Temple Recommend Worthy or have a current Temple Recommend.
