Located on Salt Spring Island, the Salt Spring Centre School provides individualized attention through small class sizes while adhering to the BC curriculum. Successful candidates will understand the importance of mental health in youth and have experience with neurodiverse classrooms. A commitment to fostering exploration and a love for learning is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engaging literacy and numeracy instruction
• Focus on students’ social-emotional well-being
• Facilitate outdoor play and exploration
• Advocate for environmental care and awareness
• Inspire creativity through diverse teaching methods
Requirements:
• Valid teaching certificate from British Columbia
• Passion for K-3 learning and education
• Understanding of social-emotional learning strategies
• Training in early childhood pedagogy
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
Support young learners in a nurturing and creative educational environment at Salt Spring Centre School.
