School Admin Assistant, Temp to perm, full-time from September 2026

We are seeking an organised and proactive School Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a busy school office. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative functions while providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors.

• Provide general administrative support to the school office
• Act as a first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
• Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence
• Maintain and update student records and school databases
• Assist with attendance tracking and reporting
• Support the organisation of school events, meetings, and trips
• Handle filing, photocopying, and document preparation
• Support senior staff and teachers with administrative tasks
• Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures

• Previous administrative experience (school experience desirable)
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
