A Personal assistant is needed to support a 9-year-old girl with complex needs in Saltash.
The family are looking for a kind, reliable, caring and patient person who has knowledge of complex needs of children to act as a PA for their daughter. She loves music, being outside, bus trips, meeting people and has a great sense of fun and humour. She needs someone with a friendly, outgoing personality to support her to take part in these activities to build her confidence and become more independent in the local community and at home.
The ideal person for this role needs to be reliable, trustworthy and possess excellent communication skills. Having the right personal values and a positive attitude are more important than having formal care experience. All applicants will be considered. You will have to undergo an enhanced DBS check for the role.
The position is for up to 4 hours a week on Fridays but for the right candidate the hours could be split or worked on alternate Fridays. Hours can be discussed in more detail in person.
The rate of pay is £14 per hour with extra hours during school holidays.
Hours can be flexible to fit in with the family.
The role is permanent.
