Cover Supervisors

Cover Supervisor – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible.

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Cover Supervisors who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working across a range of schools in Saltash and nearby areas, providing essential classroom support and continuity in the absence of teaching staff.

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to pupils in the absence of the regular teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
• Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and classroom activity
• Support pupils with their learning and encourage engagement
• Adapt to different school environments and year groups as required

• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning
• Flexible, reliable, and confident in managing different age groups
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners
