Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only plus 5 additional days to include 1 INSET day)

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Year for September 2026.

We are looking for a strong leader to join our team, and who will ensure that students thrive academically and personally. Our year groups have approximately 220 students from a wide and diverse catchment.

The successful candidate will take over a cohort and lead them through to the end of Year 11.

Saltash Community School is a co-educational 11‑18 school of over 1200 students including a successful sixth form and incorporating an Area Resource Base; a specialised environment for children with severe and complex learning needs.

Daily working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm.
