The primary responsibility of the role is to maintain plant equipment and fix mechanical / electrical issues sitewide. For this role a strong electrical bias with control / automation skill will be required, along with an intermediate level of mechanical expertise.

• Engineering Foundation :
  Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical, Automation, or Multi-Skilled Engineering, or equivalent qualification supported by relevant practical experience.
• Automation & Electrical Problem-Solving :
  Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and automation issues within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Maintenance & Reliability Expertise :
  Experience carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance activities, with a focus on maximising equipment performance and minimising downtime.
• Collaborative & Results-Driven :
  Strong problem-solving, communication, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and manage competing demands.

• Automation & Electrical Troubleshooting :
  Diagnose and resolve complex automation and electrical faults in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Plant-Wide Technical Support :
  Provide on-shift support, including overtime cover where required, to troubleshoot and resolve PLC, servo, HMI, and related control system issues.
• Preventative & Reactive Maintenance :
  Carry out planned preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, repairs, and breakdown response activities to maximise operational performance.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes, reliability, and fault resolution activities.
• Maintenance Documentation :
  Maintain accurate records and detailed reports of maintenance work repair and system performance.
