Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Hartlepool to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026. This role is to cover a period of long-term sickness and offers an excellent opportunity to join a committed department where you can make a real impact on students' learning and progress.

Whether you're an experienced teacher or a confident Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a school that values high-quality education and staff development.

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
• Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff to support student achievement.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Specialises in Mathematics.
• Has experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is passionate about raising attainment and inspiring students.
• Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
