Support Practitioner

Based in Ardrossan, Castlecraigs is an energetic, fast‑paced Housing Support service which is home to 13 individuals with complex support needs. We have a great team spirit within the service and our colleagues really pride themselves on working together to make a positive difference to the lives of the individuals we support.

As a Support Practitioner, you will provide personalised, flexible support based upon the assessed needs of each individual. With a focus on reducing social isolation, maintaining and promoting independence, you will enable the people we support to live as independently as possible and to play an active role within their local communities. This role will also include supporting with hobbies, meal planning, cooking, housework, support to appointments, personal care and medication.

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you need. We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ Level (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!

• A caring and compassionate attitude and approach

• A full driving licence with a minimum of 1 year experience on the roads
