Mathnasium of Klahanie (Issaquah, WA) is looking for an exceptional Math Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. The ideal candidate is bright, passionate, and dedicated, with excellent interpersonal, mathematical, and instructional skills. This part‑time role offers flexible hours and a unique career path focused on community service and professional development.

All applicants are required to take a math literacy test, provide work authorization, pass a background check, and complete training in the Mathnasium Method after hiring.

• Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students
• Engage with parents positively and establish confidence in the program
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Teach in‑center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and best practices, including individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ progress throughout instructional sessions and collaborate with team members to deliver the best possible experience
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
• Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment
• Assist with non‑teaching and instructional tasks as needed

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
