Part-Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in Sammamish/Issaquah/Snoqualmie. APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, offering nationwide coverage as we complete insurance physicals for people applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The Western Washington office for APPS is looking for quality medical professionals to help us complete these exams in a timely, professional manner on behalf of the insurance company the policy is being applied.

• Reimbursement:
  You are reimbursed every two weeks by direct deposit for each exam you complete.
• Territory:
  Set your own territory by choosing the zip codes you will work within.
• Orientation:
  We provide a 3-4 hour in-person orientation to verify your skills as well as show you the paperwork and website used by our ICs.
• Equipment:
  We may rent equipment such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges. Use of your own equipment will be considered but is not guaranteed. Some items may need to be purchased (e.g., manual BP cuff, Large & Extra Large).
• Stethoscope, Tape (Soft fabric) & Metal, Printer/paper/ink, Scale (400 lb), gloves, alcohol swabs, gauze, and other basic consumables may be required.

• Independent contractors (ICs) are self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision, completing quality exams using medical knowledge.
• Exams are performed on a mobile basis at the client’s home or office and may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12-lead EKGs.
• Follow all compliance and safety policies and procedures while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in collecting client information.
• Exam duration may range from 15 minutes to a little over an hour depending on exam requirements.

• Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
• Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
• Familiarity with tablets/computers.
• Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
• EKG experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver’s license and auto insurance. References and background check may be required.
• Education preferred:
  High school diploma or equivalency. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification required.

• Set your own schedule! Exams are available 7 days a week and 52 weeks of the year.
