This posting will remain open to generate a pool of qualified student applicants for available positions during the semester.

Each applicant will have to audition for each position.

The audition will consist of the following: reading off a teleprompter, ad‑libbing the weather with the use of weather maps and forecasts (no meteorology experience is necessary), and ad‑libbing sports based on videos and scores.

• Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
• Be able to clearly speak and read English.
• Be available every Friday from 12:00 pm–2:00 pm (except if the Friday is a University holiday) to film.
• Must be available during the week to train and practice before filming on Friday.
• Must practice good hygiene, keep a clean and kempt appearance, and have access to business casual clothing to wear on air.

• Communication and Mass Media students (preferred, but not required).

• Ability to stand 2–4 hours at a time on occasion.
• Ability to occasionally lift approximately 25 lbs if necessary.

Salary: $10.00 hr
