Application Engineer- Building Automation

We are seeking an experienced HVAC BAS Applications Engineer with a strong background in Schneider Electric Eco Struxure. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in translating MEP drawings and specifications into fully developed submittal packages, while also serving as a technical resource for field installation teams. Familiarity with Studio 360 engineering software is a major plus. This role combines engineering expertise with hands‑on field support to ensure successful project execution from design through installation.

Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 per year

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop comprehensive BAS submittal packages.
• Engineer and configure BAS control systems with a focus on Schneider Electric Eco Struxure platforms.
• Utilize Studio 360 engineering software (if experienced) to streamline system programming and design workflows.
• Provide technical support to installation technicians during system deployment, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to ensure designs align with project scope and customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including submittals, drawings, and control sequences.
• Assist with system commissioning, testing, and final turnover.

• 3+ years of experience in BAS/HVAC controls engineering, applications engineering, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Schneider Electric Eco Struxure platforms.
• Experience creating submittal packages from MEP drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with Studio 360 engineering software strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, DDC controls, and energy management principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support field technicians during installation and commissioning.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
