Our mission is to enable individuals and families to reach their full potential in body, mind, and spirit, using evidence‑based counseling and educational services.

Services offered by WTCG include individual therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, premarital counseling, couples and family counseling, veteran services, children's play therapy, and anger management.

Position Overview

The Grants & Financial Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing and monitoring the financial and programmatic components of awarded grants. This role focuses on tracking fund allocation and usage, maintaining accurate financial records in Quick Books, and preparing clear, data‑driven reports on grant performance and compliance. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with strong analytical skills who can work with minimal supervision while ensuring adherence to grant requirements and organizational policies.

* This position does not include grant writing or grant application responsibilities.*

Regular and timely attendance is required.

Key Responsibilities Grant Monitoring & Tracking
  • Track awarded grant funds, expenditures, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain complete, organized grant files and documentation to support audit and monitoring readiness.
  • Monitor grant budgets and proactively identify discrepancies, risks, or compliance concerns.
Financial Management
  • Record and track all grant‑related transactions in Quick Books.
  • Ensure proper coding, allocation, and reconciliation of grant expenses.
  • Prepare periodic financial summaries to support program staff and leadership decision‑making.
Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare grant progress reports, financial reports, reimbursements, and compliance documentation as required by funders and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all grant activities remain aligned with funding requirements, contractual obligations, and organizational policies.
  • Assist with data collection, performance metrics, and outcome evaluation.
Analysis & Process Improvement
  • Analyze spending trends, performance outcomes, and financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve grant tracking, reporting processes, and internal controls.
  • Demonstrate strong independent judgment and problem‑solving skills with minimal supervision.
Confidentiality & Ethics
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial, grant, and donor information.
  • Handle all grant and financial data ethically, accurately, and in compliance with organizational policies and funder requirements.
Performance Measures
  • Accurate and timely grant and financial reporting.
  • On‑time submission of reports, reimbursements, and required documentation.
  • Audit and monitoring readiness.
  • Clear, reliable documentation and data integrity.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience working with Quick Books.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into clear, actionable reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field OR a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in grant management, finance, or accounting.
  • Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in grant management, fund tracking, or nonprofit finance.

  • Work is performed primarily in an office environment using standard office equipment.
