Location:

This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Air and Marine Operations, National Air and Security Operations Center (NASOC) located in San Angelo, TX. Duties

Join Customs and Border Protection and utilize your expertise as a Mission Support Specialist (Generalist) planning and carrying out a wide variety of administrative, management and program planning, activities, policy research and other duties related to mission support functions. This position starts at a salary of $73,939.00 (GS‑11, Step
1) to $ (GS‑12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $115,213 (GS‑12 Step 10). GS Salary:

  • Providing comprehensive human capital management advisory services on substantive organization functions and work practices.
  • Paying invoices in a timely manner and resolving issues as needed ensuring all purchases are made in accordance with the Anti‑Deficiency Act (ADA).
  • Advising injured employees on their rights with regards to Return to Work, Continuation of Pay, Light Duty, or Vocational Rehabilitation in accordance with the Office of Worker's Compensation Program (OWCP).
  • Ensuring travel vouchers are correct and complete and submits them for reimbursement in accordance with federal travel regulation.
  • Performing duties as the Local Property Officer, utilizing knowledge of Systems and Products (SAP), and ensuring timely processing of inventory, disposal, approval, and other related actions.
  • Additional selections may be made beyond the total number of vacancies specified using this vacancy announcement.

Requirements
