- Perform respiratory therapy procedures for patients with diverse needs and physical abnormalities. Supervise related positions as assigned.
- Ensure the delivery of specialized respiratory care, including assessments, treatments, and patient education.
- Assist with emergency situations and handle infectious or contagious diseases while maintaining safety protocols.
- Maintain physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting loads up to 50 pounds, assisting with patient mobility, and making frequent location and position changes.
- Adhere to safety measures by wearing protective equipment and handling chemicals or toxins as required.
- Demonstrate physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting, with activity levels varying from occasional to continuous.
- Must meet physical requirements, with or without accommodations, including strength, mobility, and stamina. Ability to see with corrective lenses and hear clearly with assistance. Capable of handling emergency and irregular hours.
- Exposure to infectious agents and chemicals is possible. Attention to safety protocols is essential. Skills in making frequent physical adjustments and activities of moderate difficulty are necessary.
- Able to see clearly with correction and hear adequately with assistance. Capable of performing physical activities like lifting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
- Must be able to handle workload involving continuous walking and standing, occasional climbing, kneeling, and twisting, with activity levels specified accordingly.
