Physical Therapy Assistant

Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, implements specific treatment programs for patients across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, following established physical therapy practices and principles.

• Required:
  
  Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.

• Required:
  
  None.
• Preferred:
  One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).

• Required:
  
  Current licensure as a PTA with the Texas ECPTOTE, maintaining active and in good standing status;
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within ninety days of hire, and kept active.
