We are seeking a
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide essential respiratory care for patients of all ages, including administering oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosolized medications. The role involves monitoring and assessing patients' respiratory status, collaborating with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on managing respiratory conditions. In emergency situations, quick response and effective intervention are critical.
Responsibilities also include maintaining equipment and accurately documenting treatments.
Qualifications include
- graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- holding a Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- a Registered Respiratory Therapist License
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required, with additional certifications such as NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E for NICU roles.
