Job SummaryPerforms respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and physical abnormalities.
Key Duties- Administers respiratory treatments, therapies, and interventions as prescribed.
- Monitors patient responses and adjusts treatments accordingly.
- Maintains and calibrates respiratory equipment.
- Documents patient care activities accurately.
- Collaborates with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program (required).
- Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy.
- None required.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the State of Texas (required).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist License (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required).
