Role Overview
:
The Physical Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients across all ages, following established practices.
Collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications & Skills
:
Requires a high school diploma or GED, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent, and licensure from the appropriate state board. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and specialized certifications such as Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) are preferred.
Experience of at least one year in clinical settings is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and patient care techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt to patient needs.
