Housley Communications – Full‑Time, Junior / Entry‑Level

We're looking for an enthusiastic IT Analyst to join our team! This hybrid role blends data reporting, light software development, and general IT support.

You’ll work closely with internal teams to build meaningful insights through dashboards and reports, assist with database work, and provide troubleshooting support for day‑to‑day technical issues. Occasional travel to other office locations and availability for after‑hours support on a rotating schedule is required.

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
• Connect to and analyze data from Microsoft SQL Server.
• Write queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting needs.
• Use programming and scripting skills to support automation, data workflows, and small internal applications.
• Preferred languages include Java, JavaScript / Type Script, and Python.
• Apply basic OOP concepts in day‑to‑day tasks.
• Provide first‑level troubleshooting for internal IT issues.
• Support staff with software installations, configuration, and minor hardware problems.
• Document issues, resolutions, and internal processes.

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related tools.
• Ability to create structured reports using Excel and/or Power BI.
• Basic programming or scripting experience (any of the preferred languages).
• Background in help desk, IT support, or technical troubleshooting.
• Well versed in the Microsoft Suite of Office tools.
• Excellent communication and customer support mindset.

• Experience with SSRS (not required).
• Understanding of data modeling principles.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience working with REST APIs.

Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 per year
