IT Support, Systems Administrator
- Provide design, installation, project coordination, and technical support for network ( LAN / WAN ) and telecommunications (phone, video conference, etc) services and associated hardware and software systems to support University applications and systems.
- Configuration and installation of network components including, but not limited to: switches, routers, telephones, wireless access points, and various other communication technologies.
- Troubleshooting tier 1 network issues in assistance to desktop technicians and full time staff.
- Creating and maintaining documentation of campus networked environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Should have a thorough background in PC maintenance and trouble shooting and exhibit a high level of problem solving capability.
- Experience in a networked environment, Linux, and Cisco IOS are pluses but not required.
Physical Demands
- Ability to occasionally carry ladder and tools.
