Location: San Angelo, TX 76903
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8, 10:30–19:00, Monday–Friday
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Operating Room experience required.
- Trauma Level II experience required.
- Epic experience required.
- BLS and TX RN License required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Charge Nurse experience preferred.
- Travel experience not required but highly preferred based on experience.
- Strong experience in General OR, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho/Spine, General Surgery, Urology, Robotics, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Bariatrics.
- Experience with Da Vinci Xi, Mako Surgical System, robotic colorectal/urologic procedures, and major orthopedic/neuro cases preferred.
Description:
- Work in a General OR/Trauma setting performing a broad range of surgical procedures.
- Experience with craniotomy, VP shunt, cervical/lumbar fusion, laminectomy/discectomy, kyphoplasty, and ALIF.
- Perform orthopedic and trauma procedures, including ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy, total joint replacement, fracture reduction, amputations, and MVA/GSW/stab wound cases.
- Handle general, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, bariatric, and robotic surgeries, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, cystectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, vitrectomy, gastric sleeve, and more.
- Proficient in infection control, surgical time-out/universal protocol, specimen handling, conscious sedation monitoring, blood products, wound management, laser safety, and emergency/code response.
- Mid-shift OR position with potential Charge Nurse duties.
