Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic provides high-quality care for large and small animals in a practical, clean environment. Since our founding in 1973, we have grown and expanded our services throughout San Angelo and surrounding areas. We provide veterinary care through modern diagnostics, therapies, surgical procedures, and preventative health care.
Position PurposeHeartland Veterinary Partners Externship Program offers hands‑on experience and mentorship to 1st‑4th year veterinary students to help them become practice‑ready by their first day in practice.
Externship Responsibilities- Externship typically 2 weeks long;
Heartland will cover lodging if needed. - Externship length flexible; we support preceptorship documentation.
- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA‑Accredited Veterinary School.
- Must be able to provide student PLIT.
