In this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products. By providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries, you will be working toward advancing our goal of "Powering Prosperity Around the World."
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language.
- Use state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software.
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws, and a valid PTIN.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written & spoken).
- Passionate about helping clients navigate tax complexities and committed to enhancing our brand by delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes.
- Excellent customer service skills and excited to interact with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
- Must have (or be willing to obtain) an internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range varies by location:
- Bay Area, California: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour
- Southern California: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour
- Colorado: $27.50 - $34.80 per hour
- Hawaii: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour
- Illinois: $27.50 - $34.80 per hour
- Maryland: $27.50 - $34.80 per hour
- Massachusetts: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour
- Minnesota: $24.80 - $30.30 per hour
- New Jersey: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour
- New York: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour
- Ohio: $24.80 - $30.30 per hour
- Vermont: $27.50 - $34.80 per hour
- Washington: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour
- Washington DC: $28.80 - $36.50 per hour
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
