Cost Accountant

Description: The position will oversee the daily manufacturing performance at one of BD’s manufacturing operations. The person will be responsible for researching issues, preparing a monthly dashboard to review the performance to date, and to update forecast. They will also be responsible for setting the budget for the plant and preparing updates on variances to both forecast and budget.

• BS/BA Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 1 years job related experience
• Working knowledge of finance and accounting concepts
• Ability to travel up to 25%

• Cost Accounting experience preferred (preferably in manufacturing)
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel – including vlook ups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience with SAP a plus
• CPA, MBA, or MACC preferred
• Self-motivated
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to analyze, organize and explain large volumes of data

• 1+ to 2 years’ experience
• Seniority Level - Mid-Senior
• Management Experience Required - No
• Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
• Willingness to Travel - Occasionally

SAP Exp. Excel Exp. Cost Accounting (preferably in manufacturing), CPA/MBA
