We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Full‑time Staff/Tax Associate to join our growing team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented and ambitious Staff/Tax Associate with 0–3 years of experience to contribute to our tax and accounting services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality work. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early‑career professionals to gain valuable experience and grow within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with preparation and review of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns for a diverse client base
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year‑end financial statements
- Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and compliance issues
- Participate in tax planning strategies for clients
- Perform bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance for clients
- Assist in the preparation of audit work papers and schedules
- Collaborate with senior staff members on complex accounting and tax projects
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and accounting standards
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal processes and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses for management
- Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed
- Support senior staff in managing client relationships and engagements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0–3 years of experience in tax accounting or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA licensure
- Experience with tax preparation software (e.g., CCH Pro System fx, Ultra Tax)
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero)
- Knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques
- Experience in public accounting firm
