• We're seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support financial reporting, account reconciliations, and technical accounting research.

• Perform general ledger reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial and statistical reports, including variance analysis, cost tracing, and root-cause investigations using Excel, Workiva, and other reporting tools.
• Develop audit schedules and supporting documentation for annual external audits, while maintaining accurate work papers and established procedures.
• Conduct technical accounting research, prepare position papers, and recommend accounting policies and procedures that align with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review and improve accounting processes, monitor financial benchmarks, update desktop procedures, and communicate financial findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance or Accounting or Auditing.
• 2+ years of experience in Excel, Workiva, and other financial reporting tools.

• Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization.
• Ability to set priorities, organize work, and make occasional exceptions.
• Ability to work in a team environment, coordinating with other areas to achieve goals and objectives.
• Ability to work in a variety of locations such as the field, construction centers, and the main office.
• Initiative to work independently or as a member of a team, coordinating with others to achieve desired results.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for interaction with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to meet goals and objectives with minimal direct supervision.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to make recommendations and independent decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Experience as an accountant in the field, supporting and providing technical and analytical solutions.
• Experience with SAP, People Soft, Hyperion, or other enterprise-wide systems.
