Senior Associate, Middle Office

A private institutional real estate investment platform is searching for a Senior Associate to join its Fund Financial Operations group inside Corporate Finance. This role owns quarterly investor reporting for commingled funds and separate accounts and serves as a primary point of contact for assigned investors and consultants.

This is an investor facing reporting seat rather than a heavy administrative fund accounting seat, and it opened because the person in it was promoted into another group internally, which tells you something real about how the firm handles career growth. The path from here runs to VP. The ideal candidate will bring four or more years in investor reporting, fund financial operations, fund accounting, or fund administration, advanced Excel, a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and the communication skills to hold an investor relationship directly.

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned investors and consultants.
• Review fund financial statements, management fee calculations, and carried interest calculations prepared by third party administrators.
• Produce quarterly investor reports in Workiva, working alongside Portfolio Management, Accounting, Asset Management, and the fund administrators.
• Maintain the accuracy of fund and investor data in the Juniper Square investor portal.
• Support capital calls, distributions, and other investor communications.
• Identify process improvement and efficiency opportunities across the reporting cycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 4+ years in investor reporting, fund financial operations, fund accounting, or fund administration.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Willing to work full time onsite.
• Real estate private equity or real assets experience preferred.
• Workiva, Juniper Square, or Yardi experience preferred.
• CPA or CPA candidacy preferred.
