Accounting Manager

Manage full-cycle accounting activities including general ledger oversight and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX internal controls, and applicable industry regulations Prepare financial reporting packages and provide insights to leadership teams Collaborate with operations, tax, treasury, and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen accounting controls and efficiencies

Expertise in accounting leadership, financial reporting, and month-end close processes 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within the energy industry Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance Experience managing general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Active CPA designation required

Experience with in oil & gas, utilities, power generation, renewable energy, or energy trading environments Experience with Net Suite, SAP, Allegro, or similar ERP/energy platforms Strong technical accounting expertise and experience with intercompany allocations Prior leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
