Come join our caring group of professionals at Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine, a highly successful family-owned restaurant that opened its doors in 1997. Many of our guests, returning week after week, find our establishment a true home away from home. We are located in Alamo Heights.

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to support our team in ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their administrative skills and contribute to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner.

  • Manage and maintain office supplies inventory, placing orders as necessary.

  • Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.

  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.

  • Provide support with data entry and basic administrative tasks.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and other documents.

  • Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
  • Proven experience as an office assistant or in a related administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, fax machines, copiers).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Fluent is English and Spanish is preferred.
