You will be part of a dynamic team in Boerne, Texas, dedicated to providing a full range of legal administrative support to at least one partner and one associate in a timely and efficient manner. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for performing superior work in the best interest of our clients.
SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and motivated Receptionist with proven experience to provide general office and comprehensive administrative support for our legal teams. The ideal candidate would have a background in administration experience, knowledgeable in legal processes, document management, client interaction and will help ensure the smooth functioning of the office and legal case management.
Duties and Responsibilities- Professionally greet clients, visitors, and vendors; manage incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Maintain an organized and orderly reception area and office environment
- Coordinate and manage office supplies, including inventory, ordering, and stocking
- Perform data entry, document organization, and basic file management
- Assist legal assistants and attorneys with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and routine post office runs
- Support scheduling, client intake coordination, and general administrative functions
- Assist Accounting Department with miscellaneous tasks, including billing/vendor file management
- Make courthouse runs, supply runs, and bank runs, as needed
- Handle runs for the attorneys and legal assistants, as needed
- Provide delivery & courier services, as needed
- Run errands, as needed
- Assist with cleaning/organizing of copy rooms, conference rooms, and office in general
- Enter attorney time, as needed
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administration in a law firm or legal department
- Familiarity with legal terminology, legal procedures, and court systems
- Proficiency in legal software and case management tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Quick Books, Westlaw)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Basic understanding of legal research tools
