Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic
Responsible for performing basic automotive diagnostics and repairs, including oil changes, tire services, brakes, suspension, and alignments. Utilizes multi-point inspections and documents vehicle conditions accurately. Conducts state safety and emission inspections in applicable locations, following safety procedures and guidelines. Adheres to company policies and maintains safety standards during work.
Qualifications & Skills:Minimum of 2 years automotive technician experience, proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Key Duties:Performs mechanical repairs based on experience, tire mounting/dismounting, oil and fluid changes, and basic vehicle maintenance. Follows safety protocols, works flexibly, and communicates effectively with customers and team members.
Physical &Working Conditions:
Exposed to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures. Must meet physical requirements including standing, bending, lifting up to 70 pounds, and manual dexterity. Use of PPE may be required.
