Change Management Specialist – Apex Systems

Long‑term contract (up to 2 years) with on‑site presence 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) in San Antonio, TX. Rate: up to $80/hr.

Major SAP‑to‑Oracle ERP implementation in the energy industry. Role drives change management activities across a transformation impacting approximately 3,000 employees.

• Support execution of the ERP change strategy and deliver successful business outcomes.
• Confirm business process designs and analyze changes to existing roles, jobs, and teams.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder analysis and change impact assessment.
• Analyze training needs and support training design.
• Gather information on impacted individuals for persona development and change activities.
• Support role‑mapping activities to align engagement, training, and system access.
• Develop tailored communications and maintain communication plan; coordinate distribution.
• Actively participate in program activities and provide input across teams.
• Execute change network approach and prepare supporting materials.
• Execute change measurement strategy to evaluate program progress.
• Raise issues and risks to the program and coordinate with client internal orgs.
• Provide status to Change Management Leads and support team morale.

• 5+ years of change management experience supporting large‑scale technology initiatives (ERP migrations).
• Proven ability to develop and execute change management deliverables, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and communication plans.
• Strong communication and engagement skills, tailoring messaging for diverse audiences.
• Hands‑on experience supporting training needs analysis and role mapping for system implementations.
• Solid understanding of business process design and analysis of changes to roles, jobs, and teams.
• Proficiency in risk and issue management within complex program environments.
• Prosci Certification or Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) preferred.
