USA - Service Delivery Center - Assurance - Audit - Government & Public Sector - Associate Analyst 1 The opportunity

As an Associate Analyst, you'll work at our Service Delivery Center (SDC), a core component of the Government & Public Sector practice (GPS) in San Antonio, TX. The Service Delivery Center is made up of high-performing, US-based teams who work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our federal clients.

Your key responsibilities
  • Assist with the administration of audit reporting and documentation by compiling data into reports.

  • Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships from the analysis of financial statements.

  • Assist in applying accounting and auditing concepts to client situations by checking the accuracy of reports and documentation.

  • Document the execution of specific audit procedures.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance audit techniques.

  • Assist in creating audit and accounting client deliverables by maintaining version control of documentation and compiling data into reports.

  • Assist with financial and audit data analytics by compiling data into easily readable reports.

  • Assist in the collection of financial and audit data for weekly/monthly and ad hoc reporting by gathering and analyzing data for possible risks.

  • Execute and deliver engagement-specific tasks as directed.

Skills and attributes for success To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor's degree.

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher within the designated time frame, as determined by the engagement requirements for a security clearance.

Ideally, you will have
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Ability to consistently follow standardized procedures.

  • Attention to detail and diligence in resolving issues.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, follow up on open issues, and multi-task on projects and assignments.

  • Ability to learn new software tools and become proficient with Tableau and Visio.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and strong writing skills, with business fluency in English.

  • Progress towards achieving CDFM or CGFM certification.

  • Ability to analyze financial data and assist in problem-solving.

  • Ability to work with accounting, business management, and/or technology concepts.

  • Flexibility to work with a nationally distributed team.

  • Located in or willing to relocate to the San Antonio, TX area.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $51,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
