Position Summary

The Construction Manager serves as the Owner’s Representative, responsible for managing every stage of data center delivery — from core and shell construction through full white space build-out and commissioning. Acting as a trusted extension of the Owner’s Project Team, you will direct general contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, and specialty trades to deliver technically complex, schedule-driven projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Owner’s on-site representative, monitoring construction progress, safety, and quality from shell build through white space delivery.
• Manage contractor performance, ensuring adherence to contracts, budgets, schedules, and change control processes.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and compliance with local authorities and regulatory standards.
• Oversee MEP integration, white space layout, cable tray and containment installation, and IT-ready deployment.
• Direct factory witness testing, onsite commissioning, and integrated systems testing.
• Manage punch lists, substantial completion, and project closeout, delivering all turnover documentation and warranties.
• Track progress against schedule, budget, and quality targets, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Provide regular executive-level updates and maintain project documentation in compliance with NEC, OSHA, and client safety requirements.
• Promote and enforce a safety-first culture on all job sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction management, with 3+ years in mission-critical/data center projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related/equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an Owner’s Representative on complex, schedule-driven technical projects.
• Strong background in electrical systems integration, commissioning processes, and MEP coordination.
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
