Overview
Restoration 1 is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for writing, supporting, negotiating, and collecting on estimates for mitigation projects, as well as preparing accurate estimates for reconstruction jobs. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and skilled in both Xactimate and insurance claim processes.

- Inspect and scope water, fire, mold, contents and reconstruction projects.
- Write accurate, profitable estimates in Xactimate.
- Submit, negotiate, support, and collect invoices.
- Build strong relationships with adjusters, clients, and contractors.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful job completion.
- Communicate effectively with customers and set clear expectations.
- 5+ years in the property restoration industry.
- 3+ years of hands-on Xactimate experience, prefer non-vendor experience.
- Strong knowledge of insurance claims, estimating, and collections.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- IICRC certifications are a plus.
- Competitive base salary: $70,000 – $100,000 annually (DOE).
