We are working with a reputable construction company in the San Antonio market seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects from the field.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with a proven background running commercial jobsites, managing subcontractors, and driving schedule, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
- Manage jobsite safety, scheduling, and construction sequencing
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times
- Conduct quality control inspections and manage punch lists
- Drive project schedules and proactively resolve field challenges
- Partner closely with Project Managers and project teams
- Participate in preconstruction planning and constructability reviews
- Oversee project closeout and turnover
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Proven experience with ground‑up and/or complex commercial builds

- Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
- Deep understanding of construction sequencing and means & methods
- OSHA certification preferred
