What You'll Do:
  • Assist in preparing accurate estimates, quotes, and proposals for projects (including labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, travel, and other project costs)

  • Gather and organize bid information, including due dates, site-walk requirements, drawings, photos, vendor quotes, historical job data, and supporting documentation
  • Participate in pre-sale site walk-throughs with customers and senior team members to help evaluate project scope, site access, safety hazards, outage requirements, and clearances
  • Help identify and document project risks, constraints, and logistical requirements, including rigging, hauling, equipment access, and material staging
  • Assist in pricing and preparing change orders when project scope or customer requirements change
  • Maintain accurate bid information, pricing details, and proposal statuses in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Assist Sales in gathering required documentation, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs), safety records, Experience Modification Rates (EMRs), and bonding information
  • Maintain organized estimating records, quote logs, vendor pricing, and supporting bid documentation
The Experience We're Looking For:

  • Basic understanding of multi-disciplinary projects (electrical, mechanical, and civil) and how labor, materials, and equipment drive project costs
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and bid documents, or willingness to develop this skill with training
  • Awareness of field safety practices and common job-site hazards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Eagerness to learn, take direction, and grow within a collaborative, team-oriented environment
